Final Notice - Part Two

Mission: Mission 121: The Mobius Loop
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard / USS Grey Wolf
Timeline: 1300Hrs - February 8th, 2394

Fleet Captain Torilla Yamaguchi entered the living area as she knew all of her preparations were finished and ready for her. Now she was back in uniform as she was just finishing her preparations to depart. Jake was likewise in uniform. "You ready to go?" he asked in a soft tone of voice.

"I am." Torilla then picked up her bag. She took a moment to check to see if she had what she wanted and needed within. Upon seeing that she did. She closed it before slipping it over her shoulder. "Now. I am ready," she added.

"Okay. Let's get going." Jake rose to his feet before heading into the garage. Torilla followed, she knew her husband would handle the flying so she would allow him to handle the matter before them.

The two boarded the shuttle before they departed. The shuttle flight was held in silence as Jake relaxed. Torilla closed her eyes while she lapsed into a meditative state. The shuttle ride was over in a short amount of time, the landing was also done quietly and quickly. The two departed the shuttle. Jak turned over the shuttle to a crew of technicians and enlisted people so they could give it the once over. Torilla departed the hanger quickly, before heading to the main bridge.

Once she reached her destination. Torilla and Jake were both greeted by Admiral Sildra Vaxx-Warfield. She greeted Torilla with a smile and Jake with a nod. "Welcome aboard, you two. Commander Tienn is waiting for you in the ready room."

"Excellent," Torilla answered. "Shall we?" she asked the attendant audience. Within moments, the three of them had joined Commander Tienn in the ready room. She had been sitting in Torilla's normal chair handling the last of her paperwork. The Bajoran woman rose to her feet as she watched the two admins enter the room with Torilla leading them. "Captain. Admiral. Admiral." Tienn addressed each in turn.

"Good afternoon, Kerris. I apologize for cutting into your leave like this." Torilla commented. "But I can make it up to you."

"Yes." Tirnn slowly smiled. "Serving with you has been a rare privilege and an honour."

"The honour was mine, Kerris. You are a credit to your countrymen." Torilla smiled in response. "When we do the command changeover, you'll need a new Exec to succeed you."

Tienn paused. "I almost still can't believe I'm going to be the first Captain Tienn in my family," she responded with a wide smile on her lips. "That is still happening?"

"Yep. It is." Jake commented as he sat down on the sofa. "Is everyone ready for the changeover.?" he inquired.

Tienn nodded. "We are. Most of the senior staff was not present as they were on leave. But there are several others still present." The Bajoran woman explained.

"Okay." Torilla nodded. "When the changeover is finished. I'll come in here and pack this place out. Then I'll pack out the Captain's quarters. You can move in or you can designate a new location as the Captain's quarters." Torilla then smiled. "Captain's discreation of course," she added.

"I think I'll keep my present quarters as the Captain's quarters," Tienn answered with a nod of her head. "It'll make my life a lot easier and have less to worry about."

"Very wise," Jake answered. "Less stress, less fuss to worry about later." he then smiled. "We still got fifteen minutes before the changeover," he added.

Tienn nodded. "Time to change into formal dress," she commented. "I brought mine it's in the bathroom. I have yours in there as well," she said to Torilla.

"Nice" Torilla commented. "I was about to send for it," she admitted. The two women then took turns going into the bathroom to change into their dress uniforms. When Torilla emerged. Jake smiled. "Hey, good lookin'."

Torilla grinned. "So. What now?"

"Now we wait for the chosen time," Vaxx-Warfield commented. "Torilla, will you have any issues or concerns with turning this command over?"

"Not in the slightest, Admiral," Torilla answered. "Tienn can select her new Exec with my help or on her own if she prefers." she paused. "Packing out the Captain's quarters won't be hard. I never kept much of importance anyway." she then added. "When Jake settled on Utgarde. I sent him just about everything. I'll be back inside of ten minutes, and I'll be gone from this ship inside of one hour." she added.

"Excellent," Vaxx-Warfield answered with a gentle smile on her lips. "One thing though." she paused as she produced a small black box. Which she then opened. She pulled out a single golden pip. "I hope I'll do since your husband went camping with your children," Vaxx-Warfield commented. Tienn grinned. "Not at all, Admiral," she commented as Vaxx-Warfield handled the promotion details.

Jake, then Torilla and last Vaxx-Warfield all congratulated Tienn on her promotion to Captain.
