Mission: Mission 121: The Mobius Loop
Location: Various Locations - USS Grey Wolf
Timeline: 0905Hrs - February 4th, 2394

"You've always enjoyed swimming. You shared that with all of us when we were younger. Now we all enjoy swimming too." Rachael smiled. "It's something I'm still teaching Saki how to appreciate. Same with Olivia and Anthony," she added. "Maybe I can ask Paul or Ennis to impregnate me for another child." she had been pondering this for quite a while now. She decided she would come out and say it. Then take her mother's temperature on the subject. She suspected that her mother would welcome another grandchild. She already had several. Elizabeth's three, her five. Gabe's soon-to-be four and Selendis's two. For a grand total of fourteen grandchildren. Rachael knew that Selendis was already planning one more in addition to her own. She also knew that Elizabeth was not in any rush to have any more than the three she already had. Considering the twins had been downright abusive to their mother with the recent pregnancy.

Torilla raised an eyebrow as this was quite a revelation for her. She had no idea that Rachael had even been considering it. "I had no idea you were thinking about it," she admitted. She had nothing against the idea as she had plenty of grandchildren to spoil. Torilla was known for taking her family duties very seriously. It showed as she was close to all of her grandchildren. They loved spending time with her and hanging out with grandma.

"Sure. I've not had anywhere near the issues Elizabeth or Savannah have had over the past couple of years. Elizabeth especially." Rachael explained. "Saki was a rough one. But that was only because of the environment. The twins were easy. Effortless." she added with a gentle smile. "The sex was amazing. Paul Harrison introduced me to it but it was Ennis that really showed me how things are supposed to work." she grinned at her mother.

Torilla grinned back. "Sounds like your dad when I was just barely an adult." she smiled as she thought about it. "Let's just say that he taught me things. He showed me things, and made me feel things that I still have no words for," she commented. Torilla suddenly sighed. "Thats when things with the Borg went south, and then Elizabeth came along."

Rachael nodded her head, she had heard her father's version of this tale several times before. She had also heard her mother tell this story too. This rendition of events was nothing new to her. Elizabeth coming along would reshape her parent's relationships with everyone around them. Then word had suddenly come from New Halana that Torilla was to be exiled for the crime of mating with an offworlder. She regarded her mother in silence. Rachael could hear her mother thinking softly. Except it was more images and feelings, rather then words.

Torilla sighed. Then the issues with the Dominion come and went. Then Torilla had been requested to come and tend to her parent's final concerns. Not even an exile could prevent that. So Torilla had stuck in permission to return to tend to family matters on compasisonate grounds.
Jake had stuck in the request for her, as her husband and commanding officer. He had the right. However, he was also been concerned with other matters.

But much to her suprise, her request had been granted as she was not intending to interact with anyone. Since her parents had lived over twenty miles from the nearest settlement. Nobody would bother her and nobody did.

Torilla had gone home, to the house she had grown up in. She had both her mom, and then two months later, her father euthanized. Then Cheris had passed within several months of her father's passing. So Torilla had taken only the precious keepsakes and gotten rid of everything else. She had taken Cheris with her to live out her final days with the last of her family at her side. Cheris had gone from being almost ignored all of the time to having young children who could look after her and take care of her. Then when she had passed, they had mourned her death and honored her life.

Upon leaving New Halana. She had sworn she would never return, not even after she had died herself. She had returned to the USS Courageous, with her items and pat Lyrax in tow. Torilla had not been allowed to take Cheris with her or her parents ashes, however she had not cared in any case. She had escaped without anyone caring over such details.

Except that was not truly what happened. Years later. Torilla Yamaguchi had returned to her homeworld. As its conquerer. She had personally led the mission that had overthrown its government. Beat its entire space forces, including an old surplus Federation battle station that had been converted into a headquarters facility for the Halanan space forces. The casualties had been in the hundreds for the Halanan but the ultimate action had been those of a man named Silas Montrose.
