Mission: Mission 121: The Mobius Loop
Location: Various Locations - USS Grey Wolf
Timeline: 0900Hrs - February 4th, 2394

"Captains Personal Log. Supplemental." Fleet Captain Torilla Yamaguchi sighed softly as she gave her usual morning update to the ship's log for review and for Starfleet's records that everything with the ship was good. Her crew was in good spirits. She was expecting to arrive at Starbase Six-Eighteen to drop off the consignment of computer parts within the hour. She was expecting to be here for several hours and then she would back on the road to Vanguard before she went off of watch this evening.

Torilla sighed as she shifted her position while she remained seated in her chair. The ready room looked the same as it always had.

She kept the lighting in the ready room at about fifty percent of her usual. She had been feeling stressed recently. It was showing too, as Torilla groaned softly.

"You're always stressed and unhappy, Mom." came the voice of the other person in the room, who was sitting on the sofa as she gave her mother a sardonic smile. Lieutenant Rachael Yamaguchi regarded her mother. "Maybe if you took a little me time. You'd see that it's not all about the demands of family. The twins and Diamond miss their mom. Maybe you should spend more time with Dad while he's on Starbase Vanguard." she suddenly gave her mother a rather evil smile. "Considering you've only been out in the field for three days and they have you serving as an errand girl," she added. "Seriously, do you have nothing better to do,?" Rachael inquired.

"I was assigned this mission. To deliver a consignment of supplies for Starbase Six Eighteen. You know I was going to complete this effort, Rachael. Why are you kneecapping me on it?" Torilla groaned at what was once, her youngest child but who was now her middle child.

"Because Saki was right, Mom," Rachael answered simply. She smiled as her thoughts turned to her eldest child, whom she had left behind with her husband and her other children. All so Rachael could go on this trip with her mother. "Saki said you needed to relax and find new hobbies. Was she wrong, Mom?"

Torilla sighed. "My granddaughter spends way too much of her time worrying about me, then paying attention to her own issues and concerns. I am fine. Honey, really." Torilla sighed as she did not want to be having this conversation at this present time. Plus, she was also on duty and Rachael was not.

"No, you're not," Rachael answered softly while she shook her head at her mother. "I'm suprised you even know the meaning of that word." she then shrugged, while she spread her arms. "Because I'm not fine, and neither is Elizabeth. Gabe is still as enraged as ever. We're all still dealing with Savannah's biological mom being found and then lost back to back." Rachael didn't let her anger or her emotions emerge in her voice. She didn't need to fight with her mother over the subject. She had already won and what was worse was that Torilla knew it too. "Thats the assignment you should have been given. Finding out what happened to Savannah's mother."

Torilla regarded her daughter in silence. Now she was growing annoyed. Her daughter knew better than this and now a reminder was in order. "Rachael. I go where I'm sent. You know this better than most." Torilla paused. "Sometimes I don't get the luxury of picking my assignments. I draw what I draw. The same as everyone else." she then let out a sigh. "Also, before I forget to mention it." Torilla narrowed her eyes at her daughter. "If Paul Harrison is present. I expect you to resolve your own issues with him. So you both can move on with your lives." she added.

"Yes, Mom," Rachael answered with a gentle grin on her lips. She was hoping that Harrison would be on the Starbase as she wanted a moment alone with him. "I'll remind him of past deeds and what we had," she added.

Torilla sighed softly. "Are you always such a horndog, dear?" she inquired.

Rachael's grin widened. "Oh, always," she answered. "You should try it with Dad. I know you have the energy and are up to it most of the time," she commented.

Torilla arched an eyebrow. In truth, she felt amazing most days. High energy and she was ready for anything. She had been adding extra things to her exercise routines in the evenings. Torilla had resumed her martial arts training as well as extra time with swimming.

Rachael regarded her mother. "I heard that."

"What?" Torilla inquired of her daughter. "There is nothing wrong with working out in the pool. Wearing almost nothing helps too. True, water doesn't have the same resistance as track and field, but thats, 's not the point." she answered. "I want to enjoy myself and not get overly hot and sweaty."
