Mission: Mission 121: The Mobius Loop
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Six-Eighteen
Timeline: 0950Hrs - February 4th, 2394

Fleet Captain Torilla Yamaguchi slowly ambled down the plaza of Starbase Six-Eighteen. She had already sent orders back to the crew of the USS Grey Wolf for the science department to assist the Starbase in dealing with the temporal anomaly. Also, the ship should proceed with the delivery onto the base.

Commander Tienn had answered that the Grey Wolf and her crew would handle the matter. Torilla smiled. Yes her Exec was going to make a fine Captain someday. Torilla had decided she would stay on the base for now and see if she could assist with matters here. Tienn had said that she would handle everything else.

Now Torilla was sitting at a table in one of the base replimat's. She was never a big fan of large dining halls. Or was she a fan of Quarks, who had opened a franchise on this base. It was something she hoped would not appear on Starbase Vanguard. But she knew her hopes were foolish ones.

Torilla rose to her feet before she went over to the nearby replicator. Along her way, she caught a glimpse of a woman who smiled directly at her. The strange woman also nodded. Torilla had no idea who she was. So she reached out and touched her with her mind. The strange woman regarded Torilla with a curious look. Thats when the man next to her turned and looked right at Torilla as well.

Torilla was suprised when the lady touched her mind back before the male touched her as well. Torilla realized that she was now at the front of the lineup. She turned and ordered her drink. Before she went back to her table. She sat down when a voice interrupted her. "Hello, do you mind if we join you?"

Torilla looked up into the eyes of a man who seemed like she should have known him. She indicated the chairs across from her. "My table is your table," she commented.

"As is the company." the man answered. Torilla raised an eyebrow. Only a member of her family would know that answer. The two of them also wore a Starfleet uniform Torilla didn't recognize as being in present usage. With black pants and a black shirt, but with gray shoulders. But rather than the ribbing that Torilla was used to seeing, there was extensive use of flat panelling. Torilla also noticed that this woman wore the rank of Lieutenant Commander, judging by the rank insignia on her collar and the man wore the rank of Commander. Torilla wondered where these two were from.

The man smiled. "You look rested. Happy. I imagine that life on the Grey Wolf suits you." he commented.

"Okay. Who are you two?" Torilla commented softly. "Enough with the subtlety already," she added. "Out with it." she sighed.

"First. My name is John Yamaguchi," he commented. "Yes. You are my great-grandmother," he answered her question as he nodded. "Gideon Yamaguchi and Raivyn T'Lar-Yamaguchi are my parents. He explained. "Raivyn is the daughter of Deela T'Lar. You may remember her." John explained as he smiled before he indicated the woman next to him. "This is Erica Yamaguchi. My wife," he introduced his spouse.

Torilla nodded. "I'm happy to meet you," she commented to the two people across from her. "I recall Admiral T'Lar well. I babysat for her a few times." She paused. "So, how are you two here and now?"

"It's good to meet you." Erica smiled warmly at the older woman across from her. Thats when John reentered the conversation. "We're both assigned to the USS Concordia, and we are from Twenty-four forty-eight," he commented. "We were heading to Starbase Sixty-Eight for a week's leave when we suddenly found ourselves here at Starbase Six-Eighteen. Here and now. Grandpa told me when I was a kid that you and I would meet. Here and now."

Torilla regarded him, a gentle smile on her lips. "Because I told Gideon. Didn't I?" she asked softly.

"Yes, you did," John commented with an easy smile on his face. He then turned to his spouse. "Logan owes us five credits each."

"Yes. I look forward to collecting." Ercia gave her husband an impish smile.

Torilla paused. "Who is Logan?" she inquired with a gentle smile.

"Logan is the eldest of our three children," he explained. "He's also heading off to Starfleet Academy this year and maybe he will continue the family tradition of settling down early. Or maybe he won't." John then shrugged. "Keeping an open mind was what brought us together." he indicated to Erica.

"I needed some help with homework and John was my tutor. Once things were finished, we began dating. Things got intresting from there." she grinned at the older woman across from her.

Torilla smiled despite herself. "Sounds like Jake and I. When we were at the academy."
