Lt Colonel Tienn Nerra was taking two minutes from her paperwork as she had turned her back to her desk, she found herself looking at a large painting which had been donated to the looks of her office by her mate, father to her children and husband. K'Taro. It was called the crossing of the Nor'vaght River, with a boatload of Klingons paddling across with one of them pushing on an iceberg. The scene was depicting a winter setting as the leader looked concerned, clearly, a major battle had just been fought, won, and lost by all sides of the matter involved. Tienn didn't know the particulars of the depiction but she knew that K'taro had family involved in the matter at hand at the time.

Tienn smiled as she thought of her husband, off doing whatever it was that his assignment required of him, and she was buried under a kilometer of solid rock above her head as she had an incoming com message for her. Tienn tapped the display once and she found herself facing Division Admiral April Dragon, a woman she knew quite well despite having never served together. "Admiral..." Tienn addressed her. "What can I do for you?"

"I have nothing but bad news for you so let me be quick and say it fast before you lose your temper at me. Which I expect." Dragon commented bluntly. "Major Dvald-Festlin has been reassigned back to Starfleet, frankly, she skillset she carries would be better suited in someone's engine room rather than in the field with the Marines, she's failed two physiological evaluations back to back and rather than leaving her where she is... The powers that be, decided that she warrants being reassigned to somewhere else."

"She is still My Executive officer," Tienn answered with a soft growl in the large Bajoran woman's throat. "Does she even know of this...?"

"I don't know..." The small-framed human woman answered. "I wasn't told."

"I will deal with his matter myself, you need no longer concern yourself with this effort Admiral." Tienn's voice with rich in arrogance and contempt. "You told me and you didn't even bother to inform her of this detail as you had hoped you'd ask me to deal with it."

Dragon's temper flared white-hot with that sentence, wow, what arrogance to think that this Bajoran woman who she'd never met or heard of until ten minutes ago could presume to know Dragon's state of mine or how she thought. "Now wait... How dare you!" she growled. "I do not take kindly to people telling me things like that Colonel. I take my job seriously... Unlike some that I know and I wanted to inform you before anyone else got involved in this matter, as a courtesy to you."

Tienn's eyes narrowed, she could feel herself getting truly angry, being called sloppy or lazy were two insults she would not or ever would tolerate. "Frankly, Admiral. I do not care what you do with your job... I will deal with the Major myself and you can assign me a new executive officer. We will deal with matters as they arise."

Dragon saw this conversation going right to hell, as the old saying went ad she was eager to not go there, now or ever with this woman who'm she did not know. "Fine... I'll talk to General Zh'Fegerro about the matter and let her handle things."

"That sounds good to me," Tienn answered softly as she had to fight with her warring emotions over the topic at hand. "Who will my new exec be?"

"I'm going to leave that for the General to handle with you..." Dragon knew this issue needed to be addressed and quickly as this chat already faced going straight to hell as it was. "Look. I don't make the rules alright... I'm stuck by them, same as you."

Tienn regarded the other woman before her, "I knew all of that. I also had access to the portions of her file that were covered in black ink." Tienn paused as a realization hit her all at once. "I am assuming that you didn't," she commented before she let out a soft sigh.

"Colonel. I feel I should remind you that I did warn you I was going to make you angry with this." Dragon reminded the other woman in a blunt manner. "Frankly, I personally would have left her where she was, I've had some rather interesting space cases when I was commanding my own ship and I've learned to not interfere in command areas where the commander on the scene knows more than the person in the rear area making these choices. However... I didn't have the final say on the matter, for that... I apologize."

Tienn wanted to scream but her sense of self-control did not permit it. "I understand Admiral. I'll discuss the matter with General Zh'Fegerro after you inform her of the situation at hand."

"I appreciate that." Dragon answered as she sighed. "Dragon out." and with that, the small-framed human woman then hung up on the Bajoran as she had felt the conversation had outlived its usefulness.

Tienn closed her eyes as she mentally calmed herself. She then tapped the combadge on her chest. "Tienn to Dvald-Festlin. Could you drop by my office please?" she asked

"I'm on my way sir." came the answer as Tienn settled in to wait.
