| Personal History | Brianna was born in 2349 on Tarsus 3, a colony on the Federation frontier. The colony was wealthy until the minerals mined on the nearby gas giant, Tarsus Prime, became obsolete. The colony plunged into poverty and then into anarchy. Brianna's father was a mining engineer her mother an administrator. When she was seventeen both were killed when rival fractions went to war for control of the colony. Brianna had enough money to bribe a freighter off the colony. The freighter dropped her off on an out of the way station. Life on Samarkand Station was a struggle. She worked odd, menial, and sometimes illegal Jobs to survive. When she reached eighteen Brianna enlisted in Star Fleet as a Marine. Brianna was not the best of marines. She had numerous disciplinary actions against her. In 2367 she had enough of military life and decided to desert. While AWOL she got arrested in a bar fight and sent back to the SFMC. While Hobbs was waiting for her trial a new enemy entered Federation space, the Borg. Her company was assigned to the USS Almaty before the vessel headed off to Wolf-359. The battle ended in disaster. The Almaty was crippled. The ship was boarded by the Borg looking for crew to assimilate. Hobbs fought off several Borg and helped evacuate wounded crew. The Almaty survivors and Hobbs finally escaped on a shuttle. When Hobbs and the survivors of her detachment returned to the 22nd the previous charges against her were dropped. The reasons were because Star Fleet was critically low on personnel and due to Hobbs' conduct during Wolf-359. The detachment of Marines Hobbs was assigned to was attached to the USS Kolmar. The duty was more tedious than anything else. Hobbs kept her nose clean and was gaining the reputation as a dependable marine. The detachment was later returned to their parent unit, the 22nd Marines on Menin II. This were getting hot now. The Federation soon found itself trying to stop a war between the Klingons and the Cardassians. The 22nd found itself in a few skirmishes with the Empire. While the Federation ended its war with the Klingon Empire a new war was starting with the Dominion and their allies. Hobbs and her unit, the 22nd Marines, were garrisoned at Menin II when the Dominion attacked. Hobbs was seriously injured and transported off world. Menin II fell and most of the 22nd Marines were captured. As Hobbs was recovering from her wounds the 22nd was being rebuilt. The 22nd retook Menin II from the Cardassians. During the operation the 22nd took heavy loses. Hobbs received a field commission as a 2nd Lieutenant. The 22nd went on to fight at xxxxx During the last assault on Cardassia Prime the 22nd was once again called into action. They helped capture the planet. The 22nd stayed on Cardassia Prime for a number of months as an occupation force. After the 22nd left Cardassia Prime Hobbs went into the reserves as she attend college. Her schooling was uneventful. After her schooling it was right back to duty. Her next duty station as a platoon leader were also uneventful. While Hobbs was assigned to the Marine detachment on board the USS Dragoon, the ship found itself in fight with the Gorn. Hobbs had been the executive officer of the detachment before she was assigned as the detachment commander. She aquitted herself well during the fighting. |

Hobbs awarded Field Commission as 2nd Lieutenant. 2376-78- Assigned to Officer's Professional Course. 2378-81- Assigned 119th Marine Infantry on Monck's Landing as Platoon Leader. 2381-84- Assigned USS Dragoon as Marine Attachment Executive Officer. Promoted to 1st Lieutenant. Conducting Patrols along border with Gorn Hegemony. Skirmishes erupt and Hobbs is cited for valor and skill. 2384-88- Assigned USS Shiloh as Marine Attachment Commander. Promoted to Captain. Later promoted to Major. 2388-91- Assigned to 4th Marine Infantry as Executive Officer. 2391- Assigned to USS Dreamcrusher |
