| Personal History | Kell Tainer was born in 2362. He grew up on Earth Spacedock, he was more or less a socially well adjusted child as his father was a mechanic who worked on the visiting starships as well as those under construction, it was a good job, hard but fair and Doran loved it. When was a teenager, his father was killed in an accident which was started by sabotage from the founders in the run-up to the war with the Dominion. To cope with his rage, he turned to boxing and grew to love it, eventually becoming a champion boxer who could take on much more massive guys than himself. Rather than make a career of mashing and mangling guys in the ring, he decided to join Starfleet as a pilot himself, so he joined in 2380. Kell graduated in 2384, and in the months before graduation, he met a woman named Bronwyn, the two got into a short-lived but tempestuous relationship with a lot of fighting and sex. Bronwyn left Kell with a baby girl in his arms as a graduation girl and she disappeared off into the stars, never to be seen by Kell again. His first assignment was something he had to turn down as he now had a child to raise, so he went off to the USS Venture as one of the shuttle pilots, before transferring to the USS Titan as one of their shuttle pilots and conn officers. He was recently posted to the USS Roanoke as one of the flight leaders under a pilot named Jim Chymler, knock as 'Beatstick'. During a rather disturbing incident in which Beatstick got killed while trying to kill two others, one was a child who was pregnant herself. Cyclops was promoted to command 3rd Squadron of First Wing, an assignment he relished immensely. The Hanger deck fire also shocked him as he realized that people could die quickly, he also saw many acts of heroism and heartbreak that day but along with everyone else he was evacuated off to one of the other fleet ships, however, his injuries were not bad and he was able to return to duty quickly. Trainer decided that he liked flying and while he wasn't as aggressive as before, he was still determined to fly fighters. Kell earned himself the CAG slot on the USS Coral Sea, he's starting to resolve his issues, with the help and advice from his old friend and comrade, Captain T'Nae "Wolfheart" Duval. |
